An image showing the "Member Empowerment" framework of 4limb, which emphasizes various strategies to enhance the welfare and integration of individuals within the community. Key components include: 1. Post-accident Support: Visit members and their families regularly and encourage them by experience sharing; follow up on issues they are facing, e.g. housing, caregiver, and social resources; and connect members living in the same district and organize a strong community network. This strategy is supported by the Case Support Department. 2. Post-discharge Support: Provide regular wheelchair repairing services, emergency aid and referral service; provide rehabilitation equipment lending service; and share rehab, health, and technology information through seminars and online platforms. This strategy is supported by the Rehab Resources Department. 3. Back to the Community: Organize activities and interest groups for members to learn new skills and exchange ideas; pool the strength of volunteers and give play to "Self-help and Mutual Help" through activities; provide life education and experiential workshops to schools to "Influence Life by Life." This strategy is supported by the Public Education Department. 4. Focus on Welfare Policy: Join government meetings to give advice on policy and work with other rehab organizations; raise awareness of the members and encourage them to engage in community affairs; and monitor the policy progress to enable members to connect with the community. This strategy is supported by the Policy Advocacy Department. 5. Employment Promotion: Employ PWDs to assist them in long-term employment; provide services of souvenir design and production, web design and AQ training; and provide barrier-free workshops and accessible facility evaluation. This strategy is supported by the Social Enterprise.
